ABOUT JACLYN
Therapy that meets you where you are.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work with adults and couples who are navigating anxiety, mood challenges, sleep difficulties, relationship stress, and the quieter, harder-to-name struggles of everyday life.

My approach is collaborative and practical — rooted in evidence-based methods, but always shaped by who you are and what you need. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation, not a transaction.

I welcome people of all backgrounds and identities. This is a space for all of you.

THE APPROACH
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT is one of the most extensively researched forms of psychotherapy. It works by helping you understand the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — and then changing the patterns that aren't serving you.

Practical. Collaborative. Evidence-based.
01
We identify the patterns
Together, we slow down and examine what's actually happening in your thoughts and feelings — not just the surface symptoms, but the deeper architecture beneath them.
02
We challenge and reframe
You'll learn to question thoughts that feel like facts but may be distortions — and develop a more accurate, compassionate inner voice.
03
We build new behaviors
Small, consistent behavioral shifts can create profound change. We work on practical tools you can use between sessions, not just during them.
04
You internalize the skills
The goal of good therapy is to eventually need it less. You'll leave with tools that belong to you — for good.

COMMON QUESTIONS
You might be wondering...
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider. I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurer to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first session.
What does a first session look like?
Our first session is a conversation — I'll ask about what's brought you to therapy, your history, and what you're hoping to achieve. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. It's also a chance for you to get a sense of how I work and whether we feel like a good fit.
How long does therapy typically take?
It varies widely depending on your goals and the nature of what you're working on. CBT is often a shorter-term model — some clients find meaningful relief in 8–16 sessions; others prefer ongoing work. We'll discuss pacing together.
What technology do I need for teletherapy?
Any device with a camera, microphone, and a reliable internet connection — a phone, tablet, or laptop all work. I use a HIPAA-compliant video platform and will send you a secure link before our session.
Do you work with LGBTQ+ clients?
Absolutely. I warmly welcome clients of all genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and backgrounds. Affirming, inclusive care is central to how I practice.
Ready to take the first step?
Reaching out is the hardest part. A brief consultation is free, low-pressure, and a chance to see if we're a good fit.
